Eyagelia Mparalou
Evi Baralou is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Theory at ALBA Graduate Business School. She specializes in the following areas: knowledge management, organizational learning, new organizational structures, open innovation, and social identity. She has taught at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow University, and the University of Stirling. She holds a degree from the Athens University of Economics and Business and a master's and Ph.D. from Strathclyde University. Her doctoral research specifically focused on the creation of organizational knowledge in geographically dispersed teams. She also contributed to the book "Exploring Corporate Strategy" by Johnson et al., which became a commercial success with 10 consecutive editions. For her doctoral dissertation, she was awarded the Society for the Advancement of Management Studies Ph.D. scholarship in 2002. Her research has been presented at leading international conferences, such as the Academy of Management, European Group for Organizational Studies, and British Academy of Management. She has served as a reviewer for journals and conferences, including Organization Studies, Organization, Human Relations, and the Academy of Management Conference. She has also published her research work in peer-reviewed journals and books.
