Ricky W. Griffin

Ricky W. Griffin holds the Blocker Chair in Business and is a Distinguished Professor of Management at the Mays Business School, Texas A&M University. He has served as Head of the Department of Management, Associate Dean, and Interim Dean. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Houston in 1978. He taught at the University of Missouri Columbia and has been teaching at Texas A&M University since 1981. His teaching areas include international management, organizational behavior, human resource management, and general management. He has taught undergraduate and graduate students, participated in numerous executive training programs, and delivered lectures in London, Paris, Warsaw, Geneva, Berlin, Johannesburg, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Sydney. As a member of the Academy of Management, he has served as the chair of the Organizational Behavior division. Professor Griffin has authored several successful books, including "Management, Organizational Behavior" (with Greg Moorhead) and "Business Essentials" (with Ron Ebert).
