
Nikolas Smyrnakis
Nikolas Smyrnakis is an author, creator of the IslandofMan Philosophy, and founder of the IslandofMan Academy. He studied at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) and holds an MBA (International MBA – AUEB). For several years, he taught the course "Strategy and Innovation" at a college. He has been recognized in literary competitions (poetry, novel, short story) and has received two e-awards (best article and collective writing project). In 2024, he received the Public Award in the category of Contemporary Greek Poetry for his work "The Letters of Love" (Dioptra Publications). He has been a TEDx speaker twice. Through his talks in Greece and abroad, he has addressed thousands of people. Seven of his books are published by Dioptra: Success Was Hiding on My Nightstand, Should I Be Happy to Succeed or Succeed to Be Happy?, Write Your Own Story, Tyrinos: The Fear Thief (children’s story), The Truth, The Letters of Love, Lies We Were Taught as Truths.
