Eyagelia Ayloniti

Evangelia Avloniti was born in Corfu. She studied at the Courtauld Institute of Art, University College London, King's College London, and Deree-The American College of Greece. She is a graduate of the literary translation department (Greek-English) of the European Translation Center (EKEMEL). Her translations from Greek to English have been published in the American online magazine "InTranslation," the New York cultural magazine "Brooklyn Rail," and EKEMEL's online magazine "Apiliotis." In 2009, she founded the Ersilia Literary Agency (http://ersilialit.com). Since then, she has worked as a literary agent, specializing in promoting Greek authors both in Greece and abroad, as well as representing foreign publishers, literary agencies, and authors in Greece.
