Viky Karafoulidou

Viky Karafoulidou was born in Thessaloniki in 1977. She studied Greek Philology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and Social Anthropology and History at the University of the Aegean. Since 2014, she has been teaching as a member of the Laboratory Teaching Staff in the Department of Philology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her research interests focus on the history of ideas, the history of historiography, and the study of the relationship between history, ideology, and literature. Her work has been published in journals and conference proceedings, and in 2011 her doctoral dissertation, The Language of Socialism: Class Perspective and National Ideology in 19th-Century Greece (Bibliorama), was published.
