Brian Hare

Brian Hare is an anthropologist and assistant professor in the Department of Evolutionary Anthropology at Duke University. He studied Anthropology, Psychology, and Human and Physical Ecology at Emory University and earned his Ph.D. from Harvard University in 2004. His research has focused on the cognitive evolution of humans, and his professional experience includes working on a fox farm in Siberia, searching for chimpanzees in the jungles of Uganda, and assisting orphaned bonobos in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
