
Dimitrios G. Konstantinidis
Dimitrios Konstantinidis was born in Thessaloniki, where he attended the first grades of primary school. He continued his secondary education in Larissa and later in Kallithea, Attica. He was admitted to the Department of Mathematics at the University of Athens through entrance exams. For his postgraduate studies, he attended the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at the University of Kyiv and later pursued his doctorate at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at Moscow State University. He then taught for six years in Chania to students of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Department of Production Engineering and Management through the General Department of the Technical University of Crete. Subsequently, he continued in Samos, teaching for three years in the Department of Mathematics and nine years in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial-Financial Mathematics at the University of the Aegean.
