Michalis N. Diakomichalis

Michalis Diakomichalis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the City University of New York and a Master of Science in Transportation Systems Management from the State University of New York. He obtained a second master's degree in Shipping Business Administration and a Ph.D. in Tourism Economics from the University of the Aegean. He is an assistant professor at the Technological Educational Institute of Epirus. Concurrently, he teaches in the Business Administration program at the Hellenic Open University and supervises theses in the Master's program in Tourism Business Administration. He has over 80 publications in books, scientific journals, conference proceedings, and print/electronic media, with approximately 100 citations to his work. His research interests focus on the Economic Impacts of Tourism, Accounting, Finance and Auditing of Special Forms of Tourism, Transportation Systems, and Regional Development.
