Kostas CHristidis

KONSTANTINOS CHRISTIDIS is a legal and economic expert. He was born in Athens and graduated with honors from Varvakeio. He holds degrees from the Law School of the University of Athens and the London School of Economics (M.Sc.Econ.). He practiced law in Athens from 1973 to 2008 and was admitted to the Supreme Court in 1983. Christidis has served as a legal and economic advisor and has held positions such as President, Vice President, or board member in various private and public sector companies and organizations, including Macedonian Spinning Mills S.A., IMPACT Business Consultants S.A., Duty-Free Shops S.A., Hellenic Cadastre and Mapping Organization, ADDAX S.A. IT and Organization Consultants, Athens Development Agency, Hellenic Association of Textile Industries (SEVK), National Center for Social Research (EKKE), European Cultural Centre of Delphi, and the Auxiliary Fund for Personnel of Social Security Organizations (TEAPOKA). He also served as a Special Advisor to the Ministry of Finance. He is a member of numerous think tanks and has authored several books, including "Addressing the Country's Economic Problem" (with K. Kolmer and N. Tsoris), "Free Economy: Why," "The Liberal Choice," "Towards Prosperity" (with Ath. Papandropoulos), "Timoleon Louis and Liberal Political Thought" (editor), "The Art of Business: The Sustainable Wealth of Nations" (with Ath. Papandropoulos), "Kindergarten Greece: How to Accelerate the Path to Political-Economic Maturity," and "The Market Economy Under the Microscope" (co-editor with A. Andrianopoulos and G. Bitros). Additionally, he has published hundreds of articles of scientific, economic, and social interest in the daily and periodical Athenian press. He was a regular columnist for the newspapers "Estia" (2011-2019) and "O Fileleftheros" (since January 2019).
