Georgios D. Panagopoulos

Georgios Dimitriou Panagopoulos was born in Patras in 1966. He studied Law, Orthodox Theology, and Byzantine Studies at the Universities of Athens and Munich. In 2006, he was awarded a Doctorate in Theology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has worked as a Scientific Associate at the Faculty of Theology at the University of Munich and as a secondary education teacher in Greece. Since 2006, he has been providing academic support at the University of Patras, and in 2008, he was appointed Assistant Professor of Dogmatics at the Higher Ecclesiastical Academy of Vellas-Ioannina. His studies have been published in Greece and abroad, and he has participated in International Scientific Conferences in Greece, Italy, and Germany. He is a member of the Greek Historical Society.
