Odysseas Kyriakopoulos was born in 1952 in New York. He studied mining engineering in Austria and England and Business Administration in France. Today, he is the chairman of S&B Industrial Minerals S.A. and Motodynamics S.A., as well as the National Opera of Greece. He is also the vice-chairman of Hellenic Exchanges S.A., a member of the General Council of the Bank of Greece, and a board member of J. Boutaris & Son Holdings S.A. and Lavipharm S.A. Mr. Odysseas Kyriakopoulos has served as the president of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises and vice-president of Business Europe (European Union of Industrial and Employers' Confederations). He is a special envoy for Business Europe on Euro-Mediterranean affairs. He speaks English, French, and German, is married, and has three children.
