Panagiotis E. Kaldis

Panagiotis E. Kaldis was born in 1960 in Athens. He is an Associate Professor at the Department of Oenology and Beverage Technology at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, where he teaches business administration, applied economics, marketing, and related subjects. He holds a Ph.D. from the School of Business, Environment, and Society at Coventry University in England and has conducted postdoctoral research in Economic Policy and State at the Department of Economics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is a graduate of the Ionideios Model School of Piraeus, with a degree in Agricultural Economics and Development from the Agricultural University of Athens, and a degree in Pedagogical Studies from the Higher School of Pedagogical and Technological Education. Additionally, he has attended courses in economic and political theories at the Department of Political Science at the University of Wyoming, USA, as well as topics in local development at the University of Tras-os-Montes in Portugal. His teaching work (undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral) in higher education is extensive, international, and recognized. Similarly, his published research and writing are notable, with a significant number of citations, as well as his other scientific and administrative activities. It is also noted that his professional experience spans three decades in responsible positions in both the public and private sectors. In 2004, he became the first Director of the National School of Local Government at the National Center for Public Administration and Local Government of the Ministry of the Interior, a position he continues to hold to this day.
