Panagiotis I. Arsenos was born in 1961 in Trikala, Thessaly. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Administration at the Ionian Islands University of Applied Sciences, where he teaches business administration, accounting, costing, and related subjects. He holds a Ph.D. from the School of Management Sciences, Department of Business Administration at the University of the Aegean, and an MSc from the Department of Business Administration at the Athens University of Economics and Business. He is a graduate of the Department of Economics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as the Department of Accounting at the Athens University of Applied Sciences. He has also attended courses in International and European Accounting at Heriot-Watt University in the UK. His education is continuous, international, interdisciplinary, and multidisciplinary. In higher education, he has a recognized and extensive body of work both in teaching (development and instruction of undergraduate and postgraduate courses—both conventional and distance learning—guidance and examination of theses, both undergraduate and postgraduate) and in research. Additionally, he has published and authored works with a significant number of citations, as well as other scientific contributions (organization of conferences, coordination of events, etc.) and administrative roles. Overall, he has over twenty-five years of experience as a senior executive in positions of significant administrative and scientific responsibility in both the public and private sectors.
