Anastasios Moumtzoglou

Anastasios Moumtzoglou, born in Aigaleo, graduated in 1981 with a degree in Hospital Management from the Centers for Higher Technical & Vocational Education in Athens. In 1991, he earned a degree in Economics from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, and in 1994, he completed his postgraduate studies at the National School of Public Health (NSPH) while enrolling at the University of Liverpool, where he was awarded a Master's of Arts in Macroeconomics in 1995. In 2007, he received his Doctorate in Economics from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has taught, in chronological order, at the National School of Public Health (NSPH), the Department of Health & Welfare Unit Management at the Athens University of Applied Sciences, the Institute of Training at the National Centre of Public Administration, and the National School of Public Administration. Finally, he is a member of the Executive Council of the European Society for Quality in Healthcare (ESQH) and President of the Hellenic Society for Quality in Health (ELEPY). He is also the head of the Patient Movement Department at the Athens General Children's Hospital.
