Naysika Asvesta

Nausica Asvesta was born in Rhodes. She has worked in Theater - Decoration - Journalism. As an actress, she participated in theatrical plays such as "Robin of the Park" by Takis Karnatsos (Ithaca Festival 1979), "Lysistrata" by Aristophanes with the Thespis Chariot, "Helen" by Euripides, "A Marriage Proposal" by Anton Chekhov, "Christ and Judas" by Georgios Martinis, "Honey Milk" by Dario Fo, "The Assemblywomen" by Aristophanes, among others. Her studies, articles, and essays have been published in newspapers and magazines such as "Noumas," "Philological Review," "Aegean Topics," "Free Spirit," "Outline," "Global Cooperation," "Spiritual Life," "Literature Now," "3rd Millennium," "Tradition and Art," among others. From 1994 to 2000, she collaborated with "Philological New Year" and from 1994 to 2002 with "Polyptych," publishing essays, theater, and poetry. She has also worked at Olympic Airways (Diagoras Airport, Rhodes), the Archaeological Museum of Rhodes (Antiquities Guard), and as a theater educator (Pedagogical Academy of Rhodes). She has been anthologized: In 1993 in a tribute book by the Literary Society of Rhodes, for the 2400-year history of the city, in the "Contemporary Poetry Anthology 1997," in the "Anthology of Greek Poetry" by Noumas in 2001, in the "Continuous History of Modern Greek Literature," and in "The Poets of Our Time" in 2001.
