Eleni Rethymiotaki

Eleni Rethymiotaki is an Assistant Professor of Sociology of Law at the University of Athens' Law Department. She completed her doctoral thesis at Pantheon-Assas University (Paris II) on the topic: "From Medical Ethics to Bioethics. A Study of the Sociology of Law," which received an honorary distinction. Her work focuses particularly on bioethics and information ethics. Recently, she published a monograph on the sources of law and legal pluralism in the European Union, addressing the restructuring of the relationship between law and politics and the complex relationship between the EU legal order and national systems.
