Jeremy Rifkin

Jeremy Rifkin is the author of numerous books on economic trends and topics related to science, technology, and culture. He holds a degree in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a degree in international relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. His books have been translated into 35 languages. Rifkin serves as an advisor to the European Union and heads of state around the world. He teaches in the Executive Education Program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is the president of the Foundation on Economic Trends in Washington, D.C. For the past twenty years, Jeremy Rifkin has been a leading figure in the discussion on biotechnologies both in the United States and internationally, and his views have influenced the shaping of public policy on issues related to new gene-editing technologies.
