Eleni E. Salavou

Eleni Salavou is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration in the Department of Business Organization and Management at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). She has been teaching since 1998 at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as in educational programs for other interested groups (such as high school graduates, degree holders, the unemployed, administrative executives, and entrepreneurs). She began her research activities as a member of the Laboratory of Strategy and Entrepreneurship (LSE) while working on her doctoral dissertation in 1997. Since then, she has collaborated on national and European research programs. Recently, she has been actively involved in the field of social entrepreneurship, having co-founded the Social Entrepreneurship Unit (USE) at AUEB with Olivia Kyriakidou. Since 1997, her professional activities have included collaborations with public and private sector organizations to provide consulting services in her field of expertise. Dr. Eleni Salavou's current scientific interests focus on innovation, entrepreneurship, and management. Her academic work, which has approximately 730 citations, includes publications in international scientific journals (such as the Journal of Business Research, International Small Business Journal, European Journal of Marketing, European Business Review, Management Decision, etc.) and participation in international conferences. Her writing includes, among other works, the first book in Greek on Corporate Functions (2010, Rosili Publications) and a book on Innovation and Change (2013, Rosili Publications).
