Misel Fais

Michel Fais (Komotini, 1957) is responsible for the book pages in the "Efimerida ton Syntakton" and teaches creative writing ("Scholi" at Patakis Publications & University of Western Macedonia). In 2000, he was awarded the State Short Story Prize. Prose: "Autobiography of a Book" (1994; revised edition Patakis, 2005), "From the Same Glass" (1999; revised edition Patakis, 2011), "Aegypius Monachus" (2001; revised edition Patakis, 2013), "The Honey and the Ashes of God" (2002), "Greek Insomnia" (2004), "Purple Laughs" (2010), "Grave Goods" (2012), "Out of Nowhere" (2015). The novel "Autobiography of a Book" has been translated into French and Romanian, and the short story collection "From the Same Glass and Other Stories" into French, Spanish, and English. His short stories have been included in Spanish, German, English, French, Czech, and Chinese anthologies and published in American magazines.
