Ioanna Mpoulntoumi

Ioanna Bouldoumi grew up and lives in Piraeus. She studied Communication and Business Administration and has worked in multinational companies and social organizations, as well as a freelancer. However, what she truly loves is reading and writing; also, talking to children or simply listening to them. Since 1999, she has been writing for the children's newspaper "Erevnites" of Kathimerini. She now also writes books. In December 2009, she won the Second Prize for Fairy Tales from the Panhellenic Union of Writers. In 2011, "The Dream Collector" was honored with the Second Prize for Children's Novels by the Cyprus Association of Children's and Young Adult Books. She is a member of the Circle of Greek Children's Books and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).
