Maria Damilakou

Maria Damilaqou is a lecturer in the Department of History at the Ionian University, specializing in the History of the Americas. Her research interests primarily focus on migration, labor, and Latin American historiography. She has spent many years in Argentina, where she conducted various studies on the social history of Latin America. She is the author of the work "Greek Immigrants in Argentina (1900-1970): Processes of Formation and Transformations of an Immigrant Community" (2004) and has edited the volume "Topics and Trends in Contemporary Latin American Historiography" (2010).
