Paul Mason

British author Paul Mason (1960) is an award-winning writer, journalist, news program producer, and filmmaker. Between 2001 and 2016, he served as the economics editor for BBC Newsnight and later for Channel 4 News. From 2007 onwards, he was at the forefront of developments, covering not only the global financial crisis (with a focus on Greece and Spain) but also significant events around the world, from the USA and Turkey to the Gaza Strip and China. Today, he maintains a weekly column in "The New Statesman" magazine and writes for various European publications (The Guardian, Freitag, Le Monde Diplomatique). He has authored six books, including "PostCapitalism: A Guide to Our Future," published in 2016 by Kastaniotis Editions. In his most recent work, "Clear Bright Future," he explores the moral, political, and economic challenges posed by both the current crisis of democracy and digital transformation.
