Nikolaos Ireiotis

Nikolaos Hreiotis is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Paris, Paris 1, Pantheon, Sorbonne in France. Mr. N. Hreiotis has extensive experience as a Consultant - Expert for Large Enterprises and Organizations [such as the Ministry of Health and Social Solidarity, the Supplementary Insurance Fund for Public Employees (TEADY), the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, National Insurance, Ktimatologio S.A., etc.]. He has taught for over 10 years at the Athens University of Economics and Business and more than 15 years at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is the Coordinator and Academic Supervisor in the "TRA60 - Banking Tools" module of the Master's Program in Banking at the Hellenic Open University. He was the Academic Director of the MBA Program and the Master's Program in Banking at the Open University of Cyprus. Additionally, he served as Coordinator and Academic Supervisor of the "Finance & Accounting" module of the MBA Program and the "Accounting" module of the Master's Program in Banking at the Open University of Cyprus. He has delivered presentations at numerous executive seminars organized by organizations and banks (such as Alpha Bank, Hellenic Post, EYDAP, Hellenic Railways Organization, Export Promotion Organization, "Alpha - Beta" Vassilopoulos S.A., Daniel E. & Co. S.A., etc.). He has authored 4 books and 3 monographs. Furthermore, he has published a large number of articles (more than 40) in internationally recognized scientific journals and has received the Best Paper Award three times from international scientific organizations. Additionally, he has presented many of his works at international scientific conferences. The current research interests of Associate Professor Nikolaos Hreiotis focus on the analysis of financial statements, financial accounting, and costing.
