Klairi Georgelli

Claire Georgelli was born in 1977 in Athens. She studied in England at the University of Reading, specializing in "Typography & Graphic Communication," and focused her interest on children's typography and illustration. She has written and illustrated several children's books, some of which have been recognized in the "WHITE RAVENS" catalog of the International Youth Library in Munich, as well as in the PUBLIC Children's Illustration Awards and the EVGE Awards. In 2008, she founded the creative agency polkadot design, which specializes in visual communication design primarily in the cultural sector. The agency has been recognized at the European Design Awards, American Illustration, EVGE, and German Design Awards. As a member of polkadot design, she has designed for the Athens Concert Hall, the Acropolis Museum, and the Lincoln Center NY, among others.
