Ioannis S. Vavouras

Ioannis S. Vavouras is a Professor of Economic Policy in the Department of Public Administration at Panteion University. He has served as the Head of the Department and as the Rector of the University. Along with Panagiotis V. Tsiris, he co-founded the Center for Governance and Sustainable Development at Panteion University. He studied at Panteion University and the University of Leicester. In the Undergraduate Program of the Department, he teaches the courses "Economic Policy," "Practice of Economic Policy," "Policy of Economic Growth," and "Macroeconomic Theory II," while in the Postgraduate Program, he teaches "Economic Policy." His published work in Greek and foreign languages, including books, scientific journals, working papers, and collective volumes, covers a wide range of economic policy topics, with a recent emphasis on institutional economics.
