Giorgos Stathakis

George Stathakis is a professor of political economy at the Department of Economics at the University of Crete. He studied economics at the Universities of Athens and Newcastle. He has been a visiting researcher at the Center for Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies at New York University and at the Center for European Studies at Harvard University.
