Aimilia Salvanou

Aimilia Salvanou was born in California in 1972. She studied History at the University of Athens and earned her Ph.D. from the University of the Aegean in 2006. She has been teaching European history at the Hellenic Open University since 2014 and modern and contemporary Greek history at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki since 2017. Her articles on refugee and migration history and memory, as well as on historical culture, have been published in Greek and international journals.
