CHristos A. Alexakis

Christos Alexakis graduated from the Department of Economics at the University of Piraeus and earned his M.Sc. and Ph.D. from the University of York in the United Kingdom. He has taught at the Universities of York, Bradford, Leeds, as well as at the University of Piraeus. Since 1999, he has been a member of the faculty at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has worked for several years in stock market education and has served as a government advisor on privatization issues, holding the position of Director of the Special Secretariat for Privatizations at the Ministry of Development. He has also participated in the boards of directors of brokerage firms.
