Simos Oflidis

Simos Oflidis and Lena Kalaitzi-Oflidi are a couple living and working in Thessaloniki. They have been writing together since 1989. In 1996, they published "Karagiozika of Thessaloniki," a collection of three plays awarded by the Ministry of Culture. In 1998, they released the short stories "West of Salonica in the Shanties with the Swans." That same year, they published the travelogue "Monoxylitis," an edition by the Holy Monastery of Dionysiou on Mount Athos. In 2001, they published three plays titled "Three from Troy," one of which was awarded by the Ministry of Culture. Simos Oflidis, in his personal career, has published the prose work "With Thanasis," which was released in 1982. Additionally, he was a regular contributor to the newspaper Avgi on agricultural policy issues.
