Konstantinos G. Athanasopoulos

K. G. Athanasopoulos was born in Greece, where he completed his primary and secondary education. He studied Philosophy, Psychology, and Religious Studies at Brandon University in Manitoba, Canada. He pursued postgraduate studies in Ethics and Political Philosophy, Aesthetics, Philosophy of Law, Metaphysics and Epistemology, Philosophy of Language, Logic and Mathematics, and Medieval Philosophy at the Department of Moral Philosophy at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. He undertook doctoral studies in Metaphysics, Philosophy of Language and Mind, Ethics, Epistemology, Aesthetics, and History of Philosophy at the University of Glasgow. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Philosophy at the University of Glasgow in 1996, with his dissertation titled "The Transcendence of Human Consciousness in the Philosophy of Language and Mind of Sartre and Wittgenstein." He has taught philosophy at the University of Athens, University of Piraeus, and University of Patras, as well as at the Hellenic Naval Academy and the Hellenic Air Force Academy. He is the author of philosophical articles, textbooks, and monographs and has participated in numerous international conferences in Greece and abroad with scientific presentations.
