Ilias P. Georgakis

Ilias Pan. Georgakis was born in 1960 and grew up in Lefkada. From his school years, he was involved in journalism and literature. His poems have been recognized in national literary competitions. He studied journalism. Since 1982, he has been working at "Ta Nea." He is a member of the Journalists' Union of the Athens Daily Newspapers (ESIEA). He has published two poetry collections, and some of his lyrics have been set to music. He is married to Sofia Anagnostopoulou and has two children, Panagiotis and Myrto.
