THomas Sitaras

Thomas Sitaras was born in 1943 in Athens to parents from Constantinople. 1966-1968 He completed his studies in Economics at the University of Munich, with postgraduate training in Marketing and Advertising as a scholarship recipient of the Suedosteuropa-Gesellschaft e. V. 1972-1974 Co-founder of BCA College and Director of Studies at the first state-recognized School of Advertising in Greece. 1975-1980 Founder and Director of Studies at the Center for Administrative Sciences, which offered college-level courses in Marketing and Advertising, among others. 1981-1982 Director of the Research and Communication Institute, created by the founder of the advertising agency Adel Saatchi & Saatchi, Chrysostomos Papadopoulos. His work included collaboration and representation in Greece of the American research company GALLUP and conducting the first television audience research. 1983-1992 Representative in Greece of the German Economic Institute of Frankfurt (DIB). He operated business executive training departments and conducted Marketing and Sales seminars for entrepreneurs. 1993-2010 Business Consultant and seminar presenter on Marketing and Sales topics. He authored books on Retail Trade and Tourism Marketing (published by Stamoulis and Interbooks). 2011-Present He is engaged in writing books about Old Athens (published by Minoas).
