CHristos Nikas

Christos Nikas is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Balkan Studies at the University of Western Macedonia. He studied at the Higher Industrial School of Thessaloniki (undergraduate degree), the College of Europe (Diploma and Master's), and the University of York (Ph.D.) with both Greek and international scholarships. He has worked as a Lecturer and Research Fellow at the Universities of York, Leeds, Bradford, and Hull, as a Special Scientist at the Higher Industrial School of Thessaloniki, and as a visiting professor at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has served as a special advisor to the Municipality of Neapoli and as an expert-researcher for the International Organization for Migration. His research interests and publications focus on International Economic Relations, European Economic Integration, and the Greek Economy.
