Dionysios P. CHionis

Dionysios Chionis is an Associate Professor at the Democritus University of Thrace, in the Department of International Economic Relations and Development. He holds a degree from the Department of Economics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and has completed postgraduate studies at the Universities of Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Strathclyde, where he also earned his Ph.D. in Economics. He has worked at the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (IOBE) and as an expert for the European Commission and the Greek public administration. He has published research papers on topics related to exchange rate determination, the economics of transition countries, monetary policy, and the Greek economy.
