Elina Mastellou - Giannakena

Angeliki (Elina) Mastelou - Giannakena was born in Xylokastro, Corinthia, where she completed her general education and attended the French Institute. Since 1978, she has been residing in Athens. In 1990, she married publisher-journalist Yiannis Giannakenas, and they have two children. She has been writing chronicles, short stories, and poems since her teenage years. "The Torches of Hellenism" is her second book. In 1994, her poetry collection "I Do Not Forget," dedicated to the unredeemed homelands of Cyprus and Northern Epirus, was published. Dozens of her poems and articles have been published in newspapers and magazines.
