Stephen R. Covey

Stephen R. Covey is an internationally recognized authority on leadership, a family counseling expert, educator, organizational consultant, and author. He has dedicated his life to teaching a principle-centered approach to life and leadership, empowering families and organizations. He holds an MBA from Harvard and a doctorate from Brigham Young University, where he served as a professor of organizational behavior and business management, as well as director of academic relations and assistant to the president. Dr. Covey is the author of several highly successful books, including the international bestseller "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People," which was named the Most Influential Business Book of the 20th Century and one of the ten most influential management books of all time. It has sold over 15 million copies in 38 countries worldwide. Other significant books by him include "First Things First," "Principle-Centered Leadership," and "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families," with combined sales exceeding 20 million copies. As a father of 9 children and grandfather to 43 grandchildren, he received the Fatherhood Award from the National Fatherhood Initiative in 2003, which he described as the most significant award he has ever received.
