Panagiotis G. Michailidis

Panagiotis G. Michailidis has been elected as an Assistant Professor of Economic Analysis at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from NTUA, along with Master's degrees in Economics, Business Administration, and Mathematics, as well as a Ph.D. in Economics. His academic and research pursuits have taken place at the National Technical University of Athens, the Athens University of Economics and Business, and the University of Groningen (Netherlands). He has also conducted postdoctoral research as a scholar of the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY). He has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Economics, Econometrics, Political Economy, History of Economic Theories, Business Economics, and Business Organization and Management, among others. His research interests span various fields of theoretical and applied economic analysis. Additionally, he serves as a scientific director, committee member, or reviewer for over ten internationally recognized, high-prestige scientific journals. He has chaired international conferences, been a member of conference scientific committees, and participated as an invited speaker and reviewer. More than one hundred of his papers have been published, following peer review, in international scientific journals, or have been presented and published in international scientific conferences or collective volumes after review. Finally, he is the author of case studies, teaching notes, two books, and a teaching manual. He has received four scholarships and one award during his studies. He is proficient in English, French, and German.
