Dimitris N. Lamprellis

Dimitris Lambrellis was born in Athens and hails from Asia Minor and Lesvos. He studied philosophy on a scholarship at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the University of Pittsburgh (USA). While working on his doctoral dissertation on Nietzsche, he actively engaged in psychoanalysis. He is a professor of philosophy at Panteion University. He has published philosophical studies and articles in Greece and abroad and has participated in philosophical conferences. His interests focus on philosophical anthropology, aesthetics, and social philosophy. He has already published 13 philosophical books. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Philosophical Research Yearbook "diaLOGOS." His poems, as well as his collaborations related to the study and critique of literature, have been published in various literary magazines and anthologies. He has published seven poetry collections and a study on Miltos Sachtouris. He is a member of the Hellenic Ornithological Society and a member of the Scientific Council of the Chamber of Environment and Sustainability. As a professor of philosophy at Panteion University, he also deals with issues of ecological philosophy. He has been involved in photography for two decades, but in the last ten years, he has focused exclusively on nature photography. He is a member of the Hellenic Photographic Society, has published two photo albums, participated in group photography exhibitions, and has been awarded.
