Panagiotis Liargovas

Panagiotis Liargovas studied economics at the University of Athens and Clark University in Massachusetts (USA), where he received his Ph.D. in 1991. He was a Fulbright Scholar and received scholarships from the V. Bakalas Foundation, Clark University, and the European Commission. He has served as Director of the National School of Public Administration, Special Advisor to the Municipality of Athens, Special Associate at the Ministry of Finance, and External Collaborator of the European Commission. He has taught at various universities in Greece and abroad, including Clark University, the University of Bologna, the University of Athens, the University of Patras, and the University of Thessaly. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the University of the Peloponnese, President of the Department of Economics, and Director of the Postgraduate Program "Organization and Management of Public Services, Organizations, and Enterprises," conducted in collaboration with ADEDY and the Ministry of Interior and Administrative Reconstruction. He has authored and published over 10 books and more than 70 articles in scientific journals and publications, most of which are in English. He has participated with presentations in over 70 international conferences in Greece and abroad. His expertise lies in economic analysis and policy, as well as European and international economics.
