Nikolaos Mylonas

Nikolaos Th. Mylonas is a Professor of Finance at the Department of Economics at the University of Athens. A graduate of the Higher Industrial School of Thessaloniki, he completed his MBA studies at Baruch College in New York and received his Ph.D. in Finance in 1984 from the City University of New York. In addition to the University of Athens, he has taught at the University of Massachusetts, Baruch College, and ALBA, covering a range of undergraduate and graduate courses in Financial Management, Money and Capital Markets, Derivatives Markets, Institutional Investment, and Financial Models. Throughout his career, he has achieved notable academic and professional distinctions, such as academic and research scholarships and grants, and was a nominee for the Outstanding Teacher Award at the University of Massachusetts. His published articles appear in distinguished academic journals. He has also published timely articles in the financial press as well as books. He is well-versed in the Greek business landscape, with extensive experience in the corporate sector, and has served as a management and investment advisor to institutional investors, insurance companies, banks, and brokerage firms.
