Arsenios Meskos

Georgios-Arsenios Meskos studied Mechanical Engineering and Theology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.). In September 2006, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation submitted to the Department of Theology and the Department of Physics at A.U.Th., titled "The Contribution of Theology to Overcoming the Interpretative Problem of Quantum Physics," and was conferred the title of Doctor of Theology from the School of Theology at A.U.Th. Since 1989, he has focused his interests on studying the relationship between religion and modern science. This study led him to many unexpected findings, a small portion of which he included in his fourth book, "The Planet of Theology," which is currently available at the "Armos" bookstore. His three previous books are: "Holiness and the Culture of Information," 1994, "Love in the Life in Christ," 1997, "The Future and Prayer," 1999. He has contributed to two collective works: "Orthodoxy and Sciences," 1996, "The Mysteries of Sex," 2002, and has published articles in the magazines Synaxi and Diavasi, as well as anonymously in Discovery and Science. He has participated in various conferences on theology, the relationship between religion and science, as well as informatics. Since 2004, he has been living in Athens and currently works in Secondary Education as a theology teacher.
