Avraam Koen

Avraam Koen was born in Ioannina in 1949. After studying at Athens College, Brandeis University (Department of Philosophy and History of Ideas), and the University of Chicago (Ph.D., Committee on Social Thought), he worked as a professor of philosophy at Brandeis University, the American University of Paris, and Bennington College. His areas of expertise include Ancient Greek Philosophy and Literature (Classical and Hellenistic), Social and Political Philosophy, and Ethics. He resides in New York.
