
Asimakis Tamourantzis
Asimakis Tamouratzis was born in Athens and is an Economist and Doctor of Economics from Panteion University of Athens, where he completed his Doctoral Dissertation with honors. He studied Business Administration & Organizations at the Hellenic Open University and continued his postgraduate studies in International Political Economy (Panteion University of Athens) and European Economic Policy (Athens University of Economics and Business - AUEB), earning a Scholarship of Excellence from the Department of International & European Economic Studies (DIES). He has numerous academic qualifications in the scientific fields of Public Finance (Oxford University), International Economics (Stanford University & Leiden University), and European Studies (European University Institute). He has been involved in research at Panteion University of Athens and the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). Professionally, he has fifteen years of experience in Economic Services departments, Corporations, and Multinational Enterprises, both in the private and public sectors. He has taught at Panteion University of Athens and is a member of the main teaching staff registry at the National Centre for Public Administration & Local Government (EKDDA). His writings have been published or are set to be published in Greek and international scientific journals and collective volumes. His scientific interests focus on International & European Macroeconomic Analysis, Public Finance, and the design of Economic & Social Policy in the Eurozone.
