THrasos Kaminakis

Thrassos Kaminakis was born in Athens and studied at the Faculty of Law. In Paris, he became involved in the circles of Criminology, which he left along with a completed doctorate in Historical Nosology to pursue Cinema, Theater, and the Art of Lyric Writing. Early in his student years, he won the 1st prize in the major Literary Competition of the newspaper "TA NEA," and since then, he has never abandoned the habit of storytelling. He works as a film correspondent at international festivals and as a director and copywriter when he returns to Greece. His fairy tales (Lost love stories), songs, and theatrical works ("Everyone Takes a Piece of Death with Them for the Road," "Moonweek," "Blitz," "Fragments of Bulimic Speech," "The Women Whose Husbands Are Missing," "The Faces of Hunger," "Dreamstreet") sporadically come to light. He founded the Small Polytechnic 18 years ago and teaches lyric writing, automatic writing, and short-form fiction (Bonsai Narrative).
