Sotiris Amarantos

Sotiris Amarantos was born in Corfu in 1984. He studied sociology at Panteion University. He continued his postgraduate studies in the Department of History at the Ionian University. He holds a Ph.D. in political philosophy. He was the editor and wrote the preface for Giorgos Kontogiorgis's book "Knowledge and Method," Parousia, Athens, 2017, and edited the written version of Nikos Poulantzas's lectures in the book "State, Social Classes, Capitalism, Imperialism," Papazisis, Athens, 2019. He served as the editor responsible for the terms of political science and political philosophy in the Great Electronic Dictionary of Modern Greek Language by Patakis Publishers. He contributes articles to various online magazines, as well as on his personal blog 'The Prelude of Thought.'
