Konstantinos Gavriilidis

Konstantinos Gavriilidis was born in 1970 in Athens. He studied surveying and rural engineering at the National Technical University of Athens, specializing in spatial planning and the environment, and went on to earn an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Patras. He works in the private sector. He has participated in movements against the privatization of water (Peiros Dam - SaveGreekWater) and in waste management (PROSYNAT). He is a founding member and former unpaid president of a social cooperative in Patras that has been successfully recycling at the source since November 2013. In May 2014, he was a candidate for Deputy Regional Governor of Achaia in the local elections, where he was elected as a regional councilor in the Regional Council of Western Greece, and he is a member of the Economic Committee of the Region.
