Patrick Boucheron
Patrick Boucheron was born in Paris in 1965. A graduate of the École Normale Supérieure, he holds an agrégation and a doctorate in history. He is a professor of medieval history at the University of Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne) and was elected in 2015 as a professor at the Collège de France. His research has focused particularly on the history of medieval Italy and historiography. Recently, he oversaw the publication of the collective volume "Histoire mondiale de la France," which achieved significant editorial success and strongly challenges the ethnocentric French historiography.
Among his works are the following books:
Milan, Mantoue, Urbino (1450-1520)"
"Comment se révolter"
