
CHristina Georgiadou
Christina Georgiadou was born in 1972 in Athens and grew up in Katerini. She studied English Philology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Translation at the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation, and Interpreting at the Ionian University. She lives in Thessaloniki and works as an English teacher in secondary education. Her poems have been published in the literary magazine "Parodos" and on Tolis Nikiforou's blog, dreaming-in-the-mist.blogspot.gr. Her poetry collection "Sporá" (Kiriakidis Publications) was awarded the 2017 "Maria Polydouri" Prize for Emerging Poets by the Municipality of Kalamata, alongside the poetry collection "Stories of Crisis" by Phaedon Moudopoulos-Athanasiou. Reviews of her collection have been published in the literary magazines 'Pnevmatiki Zoi' and 'Noumas,' in the philological journals 'Philologiki' and 'Themata Paideias,' as well as online reviews on 'Stigma Logou' by Kris Livaniou, on FRACTAL by Dioni Dimitriadou, and on diastixo by Petros Golitsis.
