Franklin Allen

Professor of Economics at the Nippon Life Chair of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Former president of the American Finance Association, the Western Finance Association, and the Society for Financial Studies. His research focuses on financial innovation, asset bubbles, the comparison of economic systems, and financial crises. He serves as a scientific advisor to the central bank of Sweden, Sveriges Riksbank.
