Eleni Galinou

Eleni Galinou was born in Athens, hails from Mytilene, and currently resides in Marousi. She studied Decorative Arts and Graphic Design at Vakalo School and worked in her field for about ten years. Early on, she created two personal series of humorous sketches that were published in magazines. She also engaged in photography, painting, poetry, and songwriting. In May 2007, she held her first solo painting exhibition at the Pantazidis Art Center, themed "Clouds." This was followed by two group exhibitions at the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Athens in 2007 and 2008. She has been involved in literature for many years and, wishing to deepen her understanding of the concept and technique of the novel, attended creative writing courses in 2007. She is a member of the Panhellenic Union of Writers. She contributed to the collective work "The City is Afraid" with the short story "...for a cigarette!" (2013). She has authored the novels "When Endurance Ran Dry," "Beyond the Red Lines," "I Still Remember," "What Didn't Become Words," and "Secret Testament."
